Youth Group

The youth groups at the United Church of Christ, Congregational provide opportunities for youth in grades 3 through 12 to meet together several times each month for fun, food, and fellowship.

Elementary School (3rd to 5th grade)

The elementary school youth group shares friendship and practices becoming disciples of Christ. This past year, the group raised money to support the animals at the Forgotten Animal Shelter, participated in the annual Rake n’ Run, and assembled presents for Operation Christmas Child.

The elementary school youth group meets on the first and third Sundays of each month from 5 to 7pm.

Middle School (6th to 8th grades)

The middle school youth group adopts a three-fold approach, integrating service, reflection and friendship. From visiting the Forgotten Animal Shelter to sharing discussion on the prevention of school violence, from Rake n’ Run to laser tag, this group works hard together to share Christ’s compassion with each other and with those who are most vulnerable.

The middle school youth group meets on the first and third Sundays of each month from 5 to 7pm.

High School (9th to 12th grades)

With the support of the congregation, the high school youth group shares friendship and compassion with each other and with those who they serve. They regularly go on mission trips to places such as Washington, D.C., Henderson Settlement, KY, and Costa Rica.

The high school youth group meets every Sunday from 5 to 7pm.
