Bannermakers

4th Monday of the Month, 1:00pm

The Bannermakers create the colorful and beautiful banners that decorate our sanctuary during the different liturgical seasons. No sewing experience is necessary.

Breadmakers

3rd Monday of the Month, 1:00pm

The Breadmakers bakes and delivers bread to people who have lost loved ones, who have recently been hospitalized, who have recently given birth, or who have simply visited the church. New bakers and deliverers are always welcome.

Circle of Caring

Sunday or Wednesday meetings, 6 or fewer times a year
United Church of Christ, Congregational, East Room

The Circle of Caring supports those members of the congregation who currently visit older members who are homebound or who reside in assisted living facilities and those who would like to begin visiting. At meetings, members share ideas abut visiting, including how to include youth and how to help everyone continue feeling valued. Visits can be made whenever it is convenient.

Craftmakers

3 times a year in September, January, and April
United Church of Christ, Congregational, Rooms 9 and 10

The Craftmakers make small items for Circle of Caring visitors to deliver to members of the church who are homebound or in assisted living facilities. No experience is necessary and all ages are welcome. Dates for meetings are posted in the Pilgrim Messenger.

Esther Circle

Esther Circle is a group of women who meet for fellowship. Meetings consist of devotions, a brief business discussion, a program, and dessert. Occasionally the group brings in a speaker, watches a video, or studies UCC material. Esther Circle has an annual Lenten Luncheon for all women of the church, helps serve at other church functions, makes up kits for Church World Service, and collects items for local missions.

Good Neighbors

Good Neighbors delivers meals prepared by church members to church members who are ill, have recently had a baby, or have had a family crisis that makes having a meal provided a special blessing.

Men’s Breakfast

Saturdays, 8:30am
Marie’s Cafe

The Men’s Breakfast group uses various materials to assist members in deepening their faith and building close Christian relationships.

Prayer Shawls

Prayer shawls are made at home by various members of the church. The shawls are made in prayer and contemplation and, upon completion, blessed and sent to someone in need. Please contact the church office to learn how to become involved.

The Quilters hand quilt commissioned projects. Their income is used to support various church needs, including the endowment. Everyone is welcome to come and work either on group projects or on their own. Anyone who would like to learn to quilt will gladly be taught.

Retired Men’s Breakfast

2nd Tuesday of the month, 8:00am

The Retired Men’s Breakfast group enjoys food, fellowship, and a short devotional time.

Scrapbooking

Last Friday of the month, 6:30 to 11:00pm
United Church of Christ, Congregational, Rooms 9 and 10
Conveners: Kelly Charnley and Stacie Yates

The scrapbooking group provides a wonderful opportunity to keep photographs, memorabilia, and other items organized and have fun doing it! This is an excellent way to get memories out of drawers and into albums.

Women’s Breakfast

The Women’s Breakfast is an opportunity for the women of the church to meet and enjoy breakfast and fellowship.
